Since its inception in 1990, Darwin has remained focused on providing clients with a trusted and professional consulting source specializing in Receivership & Claims Resolutions. Through DKJ Group Inc., he assists clients and troubled companies, as a receiver, an asset manager or a claims administrator. He compliments his 30+ years of extensive experience in receivership and asset management with a solid background in claims, insurance, real estate and asset collection. Mr. Johnson served as a Special Deputy Receiver, providing liquidation and/or rehabilitation management services to insolvent insurance companies placed in receivership by the Commissioner of Insurance in multiple states.

Mr. Johnson has served as an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Consultant and Trainer for Mediation Services for Settlement Conferences. Darwin has also served as Insurance Guaranty Association Claims Administrator, Financial Examiner, Market Conduct Examiner, Market Compliance Examiner, Fraud Examiner and Special Investigator of white-collar crime.

He holds an All Lines Adjusters License from the State of Texas Department of Insurance and is a Licensed Real Estate Sales Agent by the Texas Real Estate Commission and is also a Certified Real Estate Probate Specialist (CPRES). He holds the Designations of Certified Insurance Receiver (CIR), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Business Manager (CBM), and Registered Professional Adjuster (RPA). In addition, he has earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Langston University, Advanced Graduate Studies in Public Admin. University North Texas, an Advanced Graduate Studies Certificate, and Master of Arts Degree in Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University.
