Darwin K. Johnson, as President of DKJ Group, Inc. was appointed as Trustee/Manager for the Estate of Nancy A. Cox, deceased. Case No. PR-11- 3726-2; In the Matter of the Estate of NANCY A. COX, DECEASED; In the No. 2 Probate Court of Dallas County, Texas. Judge Chris Wilmoth. Darwin K. Johnson, will serve as an Officer and Director Margolin Cox GP, LLC, and Director of certain Corporations (namely, Solanan, Inc., Cymar, Inc., and Marnac, Inc.); the stock of which are owned or controlled by Margolin Cox, LP. This Estate owns a fifty percent (50%) limited partnership interest in Margolin Cox, LP. The other fifty percent (50%) limited partnership interest is owned by Southwestern Medical Foundation. Darwin K. Johnson, as President of DKJ Group, Inc. handles the financial affairs of the Margolin Cox's Estate; (overseas distributor of medical products).


Court Appointed Receiver/Trustee Assignments: Special Deputy Receiver

Acting as President of DKJ Group, Inc. the Company was designated by the Court as Special Deputy Receiver (SDR) for Universal Insurance Exchange. Cause No. D-1- GV-06- 000119; The State of Texas v. Universal Insurance Exchange and Universal Paratransit Insurance Service, Corp.; In the 345th Judicial District Court of Travis County, Texas. Judge Stephen Yelenoski. Universal became the first company for which the court approved a rehabilitation plan under the Insurance Receivership Model Act (IRMA) statues in the Texas Insurance Code. Universal Insurance Exchange also was the subject of the first appeal of a decision by the Rehabilitation Court under the new code. The SDR prevailed in the appeal. As SDR we investigated, negotiated and resolved millions of dollars in complex regulatory and litigation claims in nine states; Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida and Virginia related to the Guardian Trucking Program.

DKJ Group, Inc. was Court designated as Special Deputy Receiver for Texas Nations Title Agency, Inc. Cause No. D-1- GV-09- 001218; The State of Texas v. Texas Nations Title Agency, Inc.; In the 201st Judicial District Court of Travis County, Texas; Judge Lora Livingston. Texas Nations was placed in liquidation and was designated as an impaired insurer. Accordingly, all real estate related claims, including foreclosure and escrow-related claims against the estate of Texas Nations was managed and resolved by DKJ Group, Inc. The Texas Title Insurance Guaranty Association (TTIGA) entered into a Third Party Administrator Contract Agreement with DKJ Group, Inc. for the adjudication/resolution of the 132 Proofs of Claims (POC) from this receivership.

DKJ Group, Inc. was Court appointed as Special Deputy Receiver of Automotive Casualty Insurance Company. Cause No. 384,804 DIV. K; Commissioner of Insurance for The State of Louisiana v. Automotive Casualty Insurance Co.; In the 19th Judicial District Court of Parish East Baton Rouge, State of Louisiana. Judge Paul B. Landry. The first Property and Casualty Insurance Company placed in liquidation in Louisiana and subsequently rehabilitated. In this capacity of SDR, Darwin managed and oversaw all aspects of the Receivership process including reinsurance administration. Due to the size of the company, (it was the third largest Property and Casualty Company in Louisiana) a rehabilitation plan was developed and implemented by Mr. Johnson. The plan included successfully negotiating assumption agreements of various lines of business and realignment of premiums involving the Premium Finance Company owned by Automotive Casualty Insurance Company, and achieve an equitable remedy regarding company assets.

DKJ Group, Inc. was Court appointed as Special Deputy Receiver of Liberty Lloyds Insurance Company. Cause No. 386,040 DIV. F; Commissioner of Insurance for The State of Louisiana v. Liberty Lloud's; In the 19th Judicial District Court of Parish of East Baton Rouge, State of Louisiana. Judge Paul B. Landry. The Insurance Commissioner of Louisiana ordered Liberty Lloyds into liquidation when it failed to pay thousands of valid claims. Subsequently, as SDR, after reviewing reserves being held for the block of business along with available assets, Darwin determined available funds were insufficient to develop a rehabilitation program and subsequently managed the liquidation of the company. Acting in the capacity of Special Deputy Receiver Darwin’s duties and responsibilities involved the takeover, assimilation and securing of financial and claims records, conservation of assets, coordination with Guaranty Associations regarding claim records, analyzing reinsurance treaties, reconstructing reinsurance balances, negotiating with reinsurance companies, instructing legal counsel on commutation agreements and court applications, collecting amounts due and filing required reports with the Commissioner’s office and Court.

Darwin K. Johnson was appointed Trustee/Administrator of the estate of Hazel Mae Carter, deceased. Case No. 00-P24- A; In the Matter of the Estate of HAZEL MAE CARTER, Deceased; In the Court of the 19th Judicial District, Cowley County, Kansas. Judge James T. Pringle. (Appointed to administer, manage assets, sell real estate properties, and facilitate the division of proceeds amongst the parties.)
